I’m going to be honest, I was one of those people who said I want to get out of Oklahoma. I would dream of hopping on a plane and just seeing where it would take me. Funny how life has other plans for you.
That being said, I genuinely love my state and the people who live there. Events like the one below is just one of the reasons…
While you’re not going to see me rocking a mustache anytime soon, I’m all about any event that brings the community together. Local store Shop Good only sells merchandise that is, “socially responsible, fairly traded and connected to a local or international community development project.” In other words, you can literally feel good about every purchase you make. This was the fourth year they put on this shindig that brought together music, merchants, and food trucks to benefit a charity. This year’s charity was Citizens Caring for Children.
One of the tents was sponsored by Warby Parker, who’s “buy a pair, give a pair” program really fits Shop Good’s motive. I had to support this fashionable cause by trying on a pair…. or five. See which pair I picked out in upcoming posts!
Below are a couple of my favorites.
