I mentioned in the last post that our first stop in Italy was a villa outside of Florence. At first we were planning on staying in Milan before heading to Como, but after visiting with friends we were talked into checking out Tuscany. This was suppose to be a little stop between Munich and Lake Como, but we quickly wished our stay was longer. We fell head over heels for Villa Mangiacane, a beautiful 15th century villa built by the Machiavelli family. The food was amazing as was the wine. And the staff was so sweet to upgrade our room for our honeymoon!
Here’s a little look at the grounds…
It has been too cold at home so I was thrilled to finally wear my Prabal Gurung top from Target. It would have looked better with a black skirt, but we were trying to keep it casual as we were spending most of our time tipsily wandering through the vineyards.
Wearing in Wonderland ~ Prabal Gurung for Target top, J.Brand jeans, Loeffler Randall booties, mirror Ray-Bans c/o Singer22 (ps. thank you, I love these glasses!!)
