I adore dresses…

I probably blog more about dresses than I do about anything else.  A great dress can take you anywhere but I swear it’s getting harder and harder to find one.  I had been wanting a cute little strapless navy dress last year and searched every where.  I finally found one in the most unlikely of places… the bridesmaids section.  Bridesmaids gowns are no longer hideous, thank goodness.  They can be simple, elegant, and understated.  I found this little peplum number at J.Crew.  It’s so simple I feel like I can completely change the look of it with my accessories.   I’ve worn it to several events and I fall in love with it every single time.

Another thing I fell in love with… the wedding cake.  How beautiful is this wedding cake??  It’s also simple but the flower detail makes it anything but boring.  Positively gorgeous.
