The brooch.

I used to think that these ladylike embellishments were reserved for the over 50 crew but now I’m changing my mind.  After seeing some of my favorite bloggers sport these trinkets, I think I may have to try this trend.

Ps. I love the idea of pinning a brooch around a bunch of pearls.  Here’s the Givenchy ‘Femme’ Sunburst pin from above, combined with a similar looking necklace.  Wouldn’t that look amazing with a black jacket and black leather jeans???  Le sigh.
