I have a love/hate relationship with velvet.

The pros: feels soft, reminds me of the holidays, makes me think of my boyfriend Tom Ford…

The cons:  makes me think of ugly Christmas dresses, reminds me of Juicy Couture tracksuits, and it can look cheap.

It is very comfortable, however, so I understand why George Constanza wanted to “drape himself in velvet.”  As winter gets near so does velvet season.  I’ve noticed that velvet pants are making quite a comeback and actually I find some of them cute!
