With July 4th being tomorrow, I’m feeling a bit blah.  Why does the holiday have to be on a Wednesday???  Instead of pouting I’m going to go all out and cover myself in red, white, and blue.  I came across these darling shorts and I knew I could easily make them myself.

All you need is an old pair of cut-offs, white craft paint, a star stencil, and foam brush.  One good star, one bad star… keep going!

Voila!  I’m now covered in patriotic awesomeness.  Everyone please have a fun and safe holiday!

After washing these shorts in bleach and hot water they faded and I like them even more.  They look just like this pair that retail for $185!  Mine only cost $8 dollars in supplies.
