My life has been a tapestry of rich and royal hue

A tapestry to feel and see, impossible to hold

Last night I was over at a family friend’s home to watch the Thunder win the Western Conference title.  (Not going to lie, I had to google that.)  They have a beautiful home but one of my favorite rooms is the formal dining room.  It has a beautiful huge tapestry that takes up an entire wall.  It reminded me of Carole King and then I had the song, “So far away” stuck in my head for the rest of the night.  Yes, my brain works in mysterious ways.
