Many people dread Sundays. Even my Grandfather who’s been retired for years says he’s antsy on Sunday evenings. He still panics thinking he has to get up early the next day. I just don’t have that feeling. Trust me I absolutely DESPISE getting up in the morning but I love Sundays. How can you not like a day that is known for BRUNCH and being lazy?
This past weekend we were traveling once again, but to a place far less exotic than Mexico — we were off to Wichita Falls, Texas. Not the most interesting place, but the home of the most interesting people I know, my grandparents.
Wichita Falls is disgustingly hot in the summer so shorts are a necessity. A light button down and some cut-offs are my summer uniform. Preppy yet a tad edgy. I mean can you imagine a prep with the name Muffy in cut-offs? I don’t think so…
Wearing in Wonderland – J.Crew button down, Joes jeans cut-offs, RED Valentino bow sandals, Kenneth Jay Lane tassel necklace (available in black and turquoise) Ray Ban sunglasses, bracelets by Coach, Bauble Bar, CC Skye, and vintage Gucci bag (my Mom’s from the 80s)
