As Zoe would say, "I DIE!"  I love this dress!  Could I pull it off like Kate?  Probably not, but I love the look of the cut-outs.

This dress was a fabulous find from Gilt.com's final sale.  The key to the cut-out dress is to make sure you are somewhat modest, otherwise you end up looking tacky.  So if the back has a cut-out, then the front should be covered up.  Or if the sides are cut out,  have long sleeves or a floor-length hem.  Basically, just try to look balanced – not too short, not too low, etc.
