It's a fun color, but I wish it was a bit brighter.  I have about 5 or 6 coats on and unfortunately the color reminds me of mustard.

(I hate mustard!)

I have Spring-on-the-brain…

…which is easy to believe considering that we're expecting it to snow AGAIN at least twice this week.  But back to my Spring Fever.  I'm loving green nails for spring.  I know, it's a bit different. Usually I'm a perfect baby-pink-nails kind of girl, but this this green is minty fresh! 

Chanel was the first to show green nails during their Fall 2009 Paris show:

I think this shade it will be perfect for Spring 2010!  Since it came out last season it's been a bit difficult to track down.  If you're a die-hard Chanel addict, then check out Ebay where a bottle of Chanel Jade #407 is going for up to $188 a bottle — craziness!!!

So I've been trying out all the latest shades of green.  OPI's "Jade is the new black" is already developing a cult-like following, but it was just a bit too dark for my taste.

Sooo then I tracked down Essie's "Mint Candy Apple," and I found perfection!

Just like the Chanel's "Jade," but for a fraction of the price.
