Lanvin for H&M

It's almost here…

Lanvin for H&M won't hit the stores until November 23rd, but here is a sneak peak.

I MUST HAVE THE RED NECKLACE!!!

Prices range goes from $149 to $249 for dresses, $99 for heels, and $149 to $349 for outerwear.

Unfortunately, there currently are no H&M stores in the Oklahoma/Texas area. But don't fret, Southern Belles — good news is on the way! H&M will be opening their FIRST Texas store in Dallas next year! It will be located in my favorite shopping stop, Northpark Mall. See you fashionistas at the grand opening.

Soooo it would be safe to assume that Carrie and I share the same obsession. But I don't have $40K to blow on shoes like she did. How do I feed my need for fashion and not live in a shoe box?

Sales. Sales. And more sales.

Let's break this down…

Sadly for designers the economy has crushed the fashion industry. With poor sales looming, designers are forced to heavily discount their goods. And voila, sales of 50, 60 and 75 percent off can be found at your favorite stores. In addition, "invitation only" sales have started to crop up.

belle de jour

After a very late Friday night, my friend and I decided to stay in and watch movies for the rest of the weekend… for almost 48 hours! Being a bit ADD, I'm not always good at being a homebody. But I really enjoyed watching the following:

After watching the last three, I was ready to SHOP! I know I ramble on and on about how much I love the 60s, but it appears the ladylike style of the 60s is back.

Example - Prada Fall 2010

The last film I watched, Belle De Jour, is one of my favorite fashionable films.

The movie stars the exquisite Catherine Deneuve as a bored housewife who becomes a prostitute during the day. And she happens to have awesome big blonde hair and fabulous mod clothing designed by Yves Saint Laurent.
