Every morning I look forward to receiving my www.whowhatwear.com daily email. Instead of "You've Got Mail," my inbox should say "You've Got Fashion."

This morning as I check my favorite email, this MESS popped onto the screen….

Yuck!

Dolls, I don't know about these trends. Let's break them down, shall we?

Wide leg pants

I can dig 'em, make sure to wear heels though, to elongate your legs.

Neon lips

Does neon red count?

Platforms

LOVE PLATFORMS! But you know what I don't love, these flat no-heel platform things they've posted.

Disco

Eh. We'll see.

Downtown lady

Ooh they're speaking my language!

Tiny pleats

Honestly this stuff reminds me of Halston, which then brings us back to disco. So, once again, eh.

Rainbow Brights

I had a Rainbow Bright doll – but guess what, I left her in the 80s too. Moving on…

(side note, I kind of love the orange dress)

Belts

Can do, showing off your waist is a good trend.

Relaxed minimalism

Reminds me of early Armani/Lauren Hutton. Can do.

I've spent $40,000 on shoes and I have no place to live? I will literally be the old woman who lived in her shoes!

Soooo it would be safe to assume that Carrie and I share the same obsession. But I don't have $40K to blow on shoes like she did. How do I feed my need for fashion and not live in a shoe box?

Sales. Sales. And more sales.

Let's break this down…

Sadly for designers the economy has crushed the fashion industry. With poor sales looming, designers are forced to heavily discount their goods. And voila, sales of 50, 60 and 75 percent off can be found at your favorite stores. In addition, "invitation only" sales have started to crop up.

holy Halston – Sex and the City 2

I’m LOVING the return of Halston! The brand is making its fabulous return debut on the Sex and The City 2 poster.

(holy Photoshop… I don’t know who that is, but it can’t be SJP!)

I have been wanting this dress ever since I saw the poster, and now it’s finally at Neiman’s & Bloomies!

Add a chunky necklace or a fab cocktail ring and I’m good to go!!!

Also I must have the Halston Heritage dress that Carrie wore when she arrived in Abu Dhabi.

Minus the turban…

Oooh… I but I can’t have both, can I? I only need one.

But… I also like this orange HH dress she wore when she received her book review in the movie.

So cute, but not quite my style…

And finally for my review of the movie.

Ummmm…

It was a bit long and drawn out and the story line was absurd, but the fashion was to die! So if you go, just expect a silly cheesefest with great clothes and accessories.
