styling an olive green shirt dress… two ways

Today’s post is all about transition.  (More specifically, about styling an olive green shirt dress two ways and how to transition into a new season.)

While most people think the end of summer is after Labor Day, it’s actually on the September 22nd.  But personally I don’t care!  My MIND has already transitioned into thinking that it’s cooler outside and that it’s time for me to bake pumpkin bread.  Speaking of baking, if you saw my Instagram Stories on Monday you saw that R taught my Gran how to make alfajores cookies.  (Basically tastes like a soft shortbread cookie sandwich with caramel in the middle… so sweet!)  I had so many of you ask for a recipe so I’m thinking that I might have to do a blog post about it.  (If you didn’t know, R is half-Pervian and a ridiculous good cook… which unfortunately means I have to work out twice as much!)

But let’s leave food and get back to how I’m styling an olive green shirt dress two ways…

This dress is the perfect transitioning into fall piece.  It’s lightweight and can be easily layered with a jacket or worn with leggings underneath.  If you keep scrolling you can actually see how I styled it as a shirt too, or even a jacket.  There really are so many ways you can wear it!

And if this bag looks familiar it’s because I have it in blue too.  Actually that one is bigger but it’s the same style.  It’s such a great bag to pile all my stuff into — seriously, it’s the best travel bag.  And don’t miss the other bag in my second outfit below… it has such a darling embellishment!

Isn’t that little pink bag adorable too?

In case you missed it, embellishments are in for fall!  Just thought you might want to know haha.  #themoreyouknow 🌈
