floral print wrap dress + the cooking class

Happy Monday friends!  Today let’s head back to Cabo to check out this floral print wrap dress… and the surprise class we took!

First a little about me — I do like cooking, however, it’s not my strong point.  Baking is my specialty, especially when it comes to attempting to make my favorite desserts more healthy.  With cooking you have to know about complementing flavors, temperatures, etc.  And my brain just doesn’t work like that.  Lucky for me, my husband is an expert in the kitchen, so we were both excited when we heard that Pueblo Bonita Pacifica offers a cooking class.

What made this class extra special was the use of all the fresh herbs and ingredients harvested from the herb garden.  It’s located right on the property and allows the hotel to quickly use anything they in their dishes.  I even picked some peppers right off the vine!  It was such a fun experience that it made me want to start my own little garden… too bad our little courtyard doesn’t get any sun, haha.  (Is there an herb that grows in the shade?)

It was such a memorable experience for us and we now want to do a cooking class on every trip we take!  During the class I had so many compliments on this dress and how it matched the garden.  Which is funny because I honestly threw it in my bag at the very last minute… because you can NEVER pack too many dresses, right?

Have you taken a cooking class on a trip?  Let me know in the comments!  And check out my last post from Cabo here.
