styling the saddle bag

This season is all about the 70s… and that’s fine by me.

I’ve always been a fan of 70s styling and clothing. I love flared jeans, fringe, and anything off the shoulder. Another style icon from that decade was the saddle bag. I have several versions of this style that I’ve been carrying lately (like my Chloe or this one from Madewell) but I’m most excited about the one I’m carrying today!

Designed by the darling Jenn Palpallatoc from Haute Off The Rack and GiGi New York, I knew I had to have it for my upcoming trips. This stylish bag is one that you’ll want to carry all season long.  Styling the saddle bag is so easy because it can be carried as a crossbody or shoulder bag, and the tassel is removable, making this quite a versatile piece.

Go check out Jenn’s blog (I just adore her) and shop the bag here.  It comes in 5 colors too!  I’ll be carrying it during my back-to-back trips this month.  Tomorrow we’re off to Peru and we’ll be sharing our trip with a fun Instagram takeover.  More on that coming up soon!  XO
