It’s fall, and while I’m excited to wear all my new pieces for the season the truth is it’s still not really fall. 

Yes I know what the calendar says, but until the temperatures actually look like fall then it’s still summer to me.  It can be a tricky time for fashion with hot days and somewhat cooler nights, so you have to plan wisely.  I’ve been holding on to this skirt for awhile because I wasn’t sure how to wear a tan suede skirt.  I love the combination of black and tan, which gave me the idea of mixing a summery off the shoulder top and pairing it with my heartier suede skirt.  The contrast of the seasons works perfectly for this transitional time of the year, and allows me to extend my summer wardrobe a little further.

Is it cold where you are?  If so, color me jealous!
