I never knew very much about Jamaica.  Only the occasional glimpse from a movie or what I heard in Bob Marley songs.  

The first Jamaican resort I recall learning about was the Round Hill Hotel.  When I was younger, I went through a huge Jackie Kennedy history phase.  I had many biographies about her life, and in them read that she and Jack would vacation there.  They even honeymooned at the hotel and it was where Jack wrote his famous inauguration speech.  After a quick google search about the property I saw the charming striped awnings, beautiful beach, and the Ralph Lauren decorated rooms.  I knew I had to visit someday.

And I did!  If you’ve been following my Instagram then you already know how beautiful the resort is.  When we first landed I knew the first dress I wanted to wear was this chambray and lace dress.  Pairing it with my big hat made me beach ready, but there was one thing missing.  The first order of business was to get a Red Stripe beer… because I had never had one!  And I’ll admit, this champagne loving girl really, really enjoyed it.  Jamaica, I’m ready for you mon.
