my cheap thrill – Tar-jay wedges

I’m always quite excited when I find something deliciously inexpensive at Target.   Clothes, dinner plates, cereals… I love it all!  So when I found these darling wedges I knew I would have to do a post about them.

Spring is almost here and wedges tend to be my shoe of choice.   A good wedge will give you height and comfort, and these have both.  Plus I love that touch of neon yellow on the grey pair.

A pop of pink

Don’t you love how one little accessory can completely change your outfit?

Wearing in WonderlandASOS laser cut clutch, J.Crew sweater, Blank ‘belle’ bottoms *best pants in the world, CC Skye bracelet, Dannijo leather wrap bracelet, J.Crew bracelet, and vintage Ray Ban ‘Wayfares’

You might notice that I’m wearing the same jewelry that I wore in my last outfit post, Hello, I love you.  I can’t stop wearing this CC Skye bracelet!  I’m in love…

Oscar, Oscar!

Thank God for Billy Crystal.  He can take a something as boring as an award ceremony and make it bearable!  Don’t you wish he could host every year?

If you’re like me you stayed up way too late night perusing the fabulously dressed celebrities.  Here’s who I consider to be the best dressed of the evening.

Ellie Kemper wearing Armani Privé

The color of this dress is amazing!  I truly don’t think I’ve seen anything like it on the red carpet before.  She looks like she’s on fire… in a good way.

Rose Byrne wearing Vivienne Westwood

Classic and perfectly tailored to her body.  And those drop earrings were the perfect touch to compliment her blunt bob haircut.

Michelle Williams in Louis Vuitton

Probably one of my favorites of the evening.  It’s supposedly a coral color, but I would take this dress in any color.  And the peplum is so on trend with this season.

Octavia Spencer in Tadashi Shoji

I LOVE how the draping on this dress has sequins on top of each of the folds of fabric.  This design really creates a beautiful waistline on Octavia.

Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad

I must admit I’m not a huge fan of J.Lo’s, but I think this dress is just perfect for her.  The style is flashy yet tastefully executed.

Cameron Diaz in Gucci

I loved the touch of shimmer at the bottom of this blush gown.  And thank goodness the jewels were kept simple, as not to compete with her sparkly hem.

Gwyneth Paltrow in Tom Ford

Of course my Tom can do no wrong and this gown was no exception!  Wearing a cape on the red carpet is daring but Gwynnie pulled it off.  Later she took it off revealing a cap sleeved underneath.

Angelina Jolie in Atelier Versace

Ooooh Angie.

Only you could take the stage and in front of a gazillion people shove your leg out to reveal a dangerously high slit.  And somehow I don’t hate you for it.  You look good, you always look so damn good!

Dolls, what was your favorite looks of the evening?  My favs would be Michelle Williams and Gwyneth Paltrow.
